Clash Royale: Best Heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A. Decks

Mini but mighty

Mini P.E.K.K.A. was one of the first heroic cards added to Clash Royale in 2025, and it remains strong even after a nerf or two. In this article I’ll take a look at three of the best decks featuring the heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A., but first let’s take a look at how to play him in general!

How to Play Heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A.

Heroic Ability – Breakfast Boost: Eat pancakes to level up. The longer you wait, the more pancakes he cooks!

The heroic version of Mini P.E.K.K.A. has proven quite good right now. Just like the normal Mini P.E.K.K.A., he’s at his best when fighting high-HP troops. Mini P.E.K.K.A. is one of the best counters for many tanks since he does very high DPS to a single target. The heroic version, however, is powered up by pancakes. His ability allows him to eat the aforementioned pancakes to gain a level and heal himself. If you wait longer, he’ll gain 2 or 3 levels instead and gain more health.

Heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A. still plays the same as the normal version. He’s great against tanks and can fight just about any troop other than swarms, but his ability lets him live longer. Plus the level up is really strong if you’re at the max level or in a challenge mode where levels are capped at 11. If your Mini P.E.K.K.A. is under-leveled and you’re in ladder mode, the ability is a bit less impactful.

Witch Evo + Bowler Graveyard

Cards:

  • Witch (Evo)
  • Snowball (Evo)
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A. (Hero)
  • Rascals
  • Graveyard
  • Bowler
  • Minions
  • Arrows

For the first Mini P.E.K.K.A. deck, it’s hard to go wrong with Bowler + Graveyard. The Bowler itself is a really strong tank which bowls a boulder towards enemies and does decent damage. This lets him clear out swarms and low-HP ground troops with no issues, but does leave him vulnerable to flying attacks. Graveyard pairs well Bowler because of his ability to clear ground troops. Cheap troops like Skeletons or Guards can counter Graveyard by themselves, so Bowler clearing them out is essential. Plus he’s just a strong tank, which is always helpful.

The evolutions for this deck fall in line with what you’d expect with a Bowler Tornado deck. Witch is one of the best evolutions for air defense, so she goes great with Bowler. Since she’s able to survive for so long and heal when her skeletons die, she’s also somewhat immune to spells like Log/Barbarian Barrel. Then Snowball is the second evolution, largely to clear the way for Bowler and take out counters for Graveyard. I also included Rascals where the second hero slot would be. If you have the second slot, Giant is the best pick to put there. Otherwise, feel free to try out some other tanks like Rascals.

This deck has to look for opportunities to be aggressive. Any time you have Bowler or Mini P.E.K.K.A. on the other side of the battlefield, Graveyard works well. It can also be good without any troops to defend/support it if your opponent wastes all their elixir. It’s not the most patient deck in the world, but you can’t just throw cards around constantly.

Goblin Giant + Sparky

Cards:

  • Skeleton Army (Evo)
  • Goblin Giant (Evo)
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A. (Hero)
  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Sparky
  • Minion Horde
  • Minions
  • Arrows

Goblin Giant + Sparky is a classic combo, made even better thanks to Goblin Giant’s evolution. What makes this combo so good is that they cover just about all the bases. Sparky does insanely high AOE damage after a long charge up, while Goblin Giant is a great tank that can also defend itself slightly. This combo has obvious strengths, but with the downside that it can be easily countered or messed up. However, thanks to the rest of the deck, it’s pretty easy to at least protect them most of the time.

Mini P.E.K.K.A. is great in this deck since neither Goblin Giant nor Sparky are good against higher-HP troops. He’s also a good substitute for Goblin Giant when you don’t have the evolution ready to go. The rest of this deck is mostly focused on protecting Sparky. Barbarian Barrel and Arrows are both for dealing with any swarms or counters to Graveyard, and Minions and Minion Horde counter tanks and/or support Goblin Giant.

Any deck that plays Sparky has to be careful about how it does so. Sparky is the literal definition of an all or nothing troop. It can destroy towers in just a few hits, but can be very easily distracted and countered in return. Goblin Giant helps with this and so does Mini P.E.K.K.A., but they’re limited in what they can do. You have to be patient and figure out the best way to get Sparky to enemy towers, which can take some practice.

Heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A. Log Bait

Cards:

  • Wall Breakers (Evo)
  • Skeleton Barrel (Evo)
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A. (Hero)
  • Suspicious Bush
  • Goblin Gang
  • Dart Goblin
  • Rascals
  • The Log

The last deck here is a Log Bait deck, which means lots of goblins and cheap spells. Log Bait decks work by trying to get your opponent to waste their cheap spells (usually The Log, Barbarian Barrel, Snowball, etc.) so you can make sure the coast is clear for your low-HP troops. Wall Breakers and Skeleton Barrel are this deck’s two evolutions, and they’re also the main win cons. Once you get your opponent to waste their cheap spells, either one of these becomes a huge threat. Wall Breakers are the best win con here since they do so much damage for such a low price, but Skeleton Barrel is easier to consistently use since it flies.

The rest of this deck consists of cheap spell targets and our own spells. Suspicious Bush, Goblin Gang, Dart Goblin, and Rascals are all cards which could be targeted by cheap spells. Because of this you do want to make sure not to make huge pushes that could be easily wiped with one single spell. Most of the times, you’ll be happy to see opponents using spells against these troops though, because it means they won’t be able to easily deal with Wall Breakers or Skeleton Barrel. But you also don’t want to try making a big push with Rascals, Dart Goblin, etc. just for a Log to mess it all up. The heroic Mini P.E.K.K.A. is key to victory here since it can’t be countered with cheap spells and it handles most threats that the rest can’t deal with.

With a deck like this, you have to play around whatever your opponent is doing. If they have multiple cheap spells, winning becomes harder. In this case, you have to be even more aggressive so you can at least get a few Wall Breakers past them. If your opponent only has one or two ways to deal with our threats (which is the standard), then it becomes more about making sure you jump on each opportunity you have to have unopposed Wall Breakers or Skeleton Barrel.
